It's Saturday afternoon and I'm bored out of my mind. I just happened to watch CMT Insider and they were going over all of the nominees for the CMA Awards and I thought it would be fun to pick “MY” winners.
These are the people I would want to win... not the ones I think will win, although I hope they do...
Entertainer of the year: Brad Paisley. Who I think will win... Kenny Chesney
Female Vocalist of the Year: Martina McBride. She's timeless... no pun intended. Who I think will win Martina McBride.
Male Vocalist of the Year: Keith Urban. I have loved every album and every song he's ever recorded. He's a talented songwriter, guitar player, and singer. Who I think will win... Keith Urban.
Horizon Award: LITTLE BIG TOWN!!!!!!! These guys have worked so hard in this town and they deserve to win. Who I think will win... Carrie Underwood.
Vocal Group of the Year: Rascal Flatts hands down. Who I think will win... Rascal Flatts
Vocal Duo of the Year: The Wreckers... but we know Brooks and Dunn will get it, of course.
Single of the Year: When I Get Where I'm Going
Musical Event of the Year: When I Get Where I'm Going
Song of the Year: When I Get Where I'm Going
Musician of the Year: Dan Huff
Album of the Year: Ok, I can't really say for sure because I only own the Rascal Flatts album, so obviously that's who I would vote for.
Music Video of the Year: Miranda Lambert, "Kerosene." Who I think will win... Carrie Underwood.
