What Is She Smoking? - 1/11/07

I know it's not politically correct for me... being an artist and all... to say negative things about my peers in the music business. Very rarely am I annoyed enough with someone to say anything outside of my inside voice but tonight I just can't help it. I'm sure she's nice and all but Anastasia Brown drives me absolutely insane. Every time she opens her mouth to make a comment about someone's performance I'm utterly shocked at what she says. I keep thinking to myself that maybe it sounds different there than it does on TV. Either that... or she and I are from two different planets.

Is she really listening to the performance or just trying to come up with her next horribly cheesy one liner?

All I can say is at least she's drop dead gorgeous.

On a positive note, I thought that the talent on the show was the best it's ever been and I thought Blake did an awesome job judging. He was very honest and tasteful with his comments. I was proud of him. I loved Jewel as the host. She brings some major class to the show.

By the way... My first week picks are Josh Stevens, Whitney Duncan, and the guy from Muscle Shoals... can't remember his name.
