When you think of amazing careers what names come to mind? If you didn't come up with Carlene Carter, you probably haven't heard much of her music. Carlene, the daughter of June Carter and Carl Smith (who dominated the country charts in the 50's) has not only a strong country background but a fearless attitude towards her music.

From radio hits, to songs released only on the B side of singles, it's all here. This is the most complete greatest hits album I have ever listened to. While listening to many hits albums you end up saying "where is this song?", you can't do that with this disc.

From traditional country to country/rock Carlene Carter does it all. "Baby Ride Easy" a traditional sounding duet is as solid as they get. Then you move to up-paced rockin' tunes like "I'm So Cool" and "Cry". Don't forget the smash radio hits like "I Fell In Love" and "Every Little Thing", they are all here.

Carlene's career has been nothing less than a roller coaster ride. From having little to no radio support (do you hear her music on the radio?) to flourishing in the late 80's, early 90's, she and her music has survived. If you are a fan of country music, you owe it to yourself to get to know Carlene Carter's music better. She has in many ways helped shape the country music we hear today.

Carlene Carter "Hindsight 20/20" is a tribute to one of the most influential female artists in the last twenty years.

The WOC Rating Scale

The album stands above the rest. This is a record that every country music fan needs to have in their collection.

This album is better than the average release. A strong record with some flaws that keep it from reaching that 5 star level.

This album is an average country release. Doesn't posses qualities that make it stand out among all the other albums out there.

A weak record that lacks solid songs or good vocal performances. Sample before you buy.

This record is a bargin-bin reject that just isn't worth the time or the money. Completely misses the mark.
