Mandy Barnett really should change her name. You might ask the question of to what. Well, two words Patsy Cline. Never before has I heard a voice that sound so close to Clines. So much in factthat Mandy has been in plays acting the role of Patsy. All of that lead up to what seems like thelaunch of a successful career as a vocalist.

A traditional sound backs up the amazing vocals of Mandy Barnett. The whole album feels like aflashback to earlier years in country music. It is great to see a artist that still wants to sing moretraditional country and Mandy does it well, almost to well.

The album opens with a solid cut called "Planet Of Love". Some of you might know the video forthe song on CMT. While not released as a single, her fans got together and paid for the video to beproduced. Then you jump into "Maybe" a song that should beyond a doubt be a single.

"Now That's Alright With Me" serves as a introduction to this long haired songstress. This song, being her first single is probably the albums best cut, while there are other definite strong points like"Baby Don't You Know".

If you liked Patsy Cline, or the traditional sound this album was made just for you. Mandy belts out winners as easily as having lunch. This one is a winner.

The WOC Rating Scale

The album stands above the rest. This is a record that every country music fan needs to have in their collection.

This album is better than the average release. A strong record with some flaws that keep it from reaching that 5 star level.

This album is an average country release. Doesn't posses qualities that make it stand out among all the other albums out there.

A weak record that lacks solid songs or good vocal performances. Sample before you buy.

This record is a bargin-bin reject that just isn't worth the time or the money. Completely misses the mark.
