Purchase The Album

If there is one album that is worth waiting for this would have to be it. The sophomore release II from The Kinleys is a modern country music masterpiece that should be enjoyed by all.

The debut single "She Ain't The Girl For You" is simply one of the most undeniably catchy tunes to be release to country radio in a long time. If the stations don't pick up on that song they should be truly ashamed of themselves.

If there is one thing that II accomplishes well it's showing off The Kinleys incredible voices. "You're Still Here" brings the torch ballad back to life. It soars with a stunning vocal performance and a cool blues vibe. The Kinleys deliver the tell-off tune "That's Gonna Mess You Up" with incredible amounts of sass. That fun loving attitude drives most of the album. The trademark funky Kinleys harmonies are shown off on "Me Too" which would be my pick for the next single. You'll laugh out loud at the antics of the characters in "Lovers". They even pull of "Yeah, Yeah, Yeah" which would have been a disaster if it was attempted by anyone else.

As an added bonus you'll find "Somebody's Out There Watching" on the last track of the album. A nice addition for fans who never bought the Touched By An Angel Soundtrack where the song was originally released.

I've been listening to this album for weeks and still can't find a single thing to complain about. II is a success in every way possible. There don't seem to be many artists recording anymore that remember music is suppose to be fun. The Kinleys are one of those select few. Each song on this album is a blast and they cement their position as country music's leading female duo. In fact, if The Kinleys can keep this up don't be surprised if people start calling them the next Judds. They're that damn good.

The album stands above the rest. This is a record that every country music fan needs to have in their collection.

This album is better than the average release. A strong record with some flaws that keep it from reaching that 5 star level.

This album is an average country release. Doesn't posses qualities that make it stand out among all the other albums out there.

A weak record that lacks solid songs or good vocal performances. Sample before you buy.

This record is a bargin-bin reject that just isn't worth the time or the money. Completely misses the mark.
